CircularHub supports the textile and fashion industry through Twin Transition, i.e. digital technology is used to support green transition. Twin Transition thus refers to the simultaneous transformation of two fundamental driving forces within companies: digital transformation and green transition.
Within the Twin Transition, the emphasis is on leveraging advances in digital technology alongside sustainable practices to drive innovation, efficiency and competitiveness while addressing environmental concerns. The CircularHub TWIN TRANSITION project uses this double transition method to strengthen companies and make them more competitive in a sustainable future, while avoiding that digitization of existing business models locks companies more tightly into unsustainable linear business models.
